Frequently Asked Questions

  • I offer individual, couples, and family psychotherapy for adults, as well as clinical supervision and case consultation for clinicians.

  • Yes. In-person sessions are available in New York City. Virtual sessions are offered throughout the U.S. and internationally

  • I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. Many clients are still able to use their out-of-network benefits and receive partial reimbursement, depending on their plan.

To make this easier, I provide superbills that can be submitted to your insurance, and I also offer courtesy claim submission through Thrizer, a HIPAA-compliant third-party service that submits claims on your behalf. My goal is to make the financial side of therapy as straightforward and supported as possible, and I’m happy to help you understand your benefits or answer questions along the way.

  • Individual sessions: 45 minutes
    Couples/family sessions: 60 minutes
Extended sessions available when clinically appropriate

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions, with flexibility based on evolving needs.

  • Many people come into the first session unsure of what to say or where to begin. We start there. Therapy with me is less about having the “right” words and more about creating a space where you can arrive as you are. Sometimes that means talking through what feels most urgent. Other times, it means noticing what’s harder to name.

Over time, our work often involves slowing down, getting curious about patterns, and making sense of emotional reactions and relationships as they show up both inside and between us. I’m present, engaged, and honest in the room, and I try to meet you with warmth rather than judgment. Over time, people often notice that sessions feel less effortful and more like a place they can exhale.

  • This is a space that welcomes all genders, identities, and the many ways people form relationships. You can begin from curiosity, not just from difficulty.
